EWA Endometriosis Support

At Endo Warriors Aotearoa, our mission is to provide meaningful support for individuals with endometriosis by offering essential tools to help manage pain. In addition to these resources, we’re excited to offer personalised 1:1 support with our founder, Yessenia. We offer a variety of sessions, and through these sessions, Yessenia will guide you through effective strategies for managing chronic pain, providing insights and practical tools designed to empower you. You are welcome to ask for all of these sessions or just one. We can hold these in person (If you are Wellington-based) or via online meeting.

We understand that access to these tools can often be out of reach due to financial constraints, which is why we offer free TENS machines, heat packs, and hot water bottles to those in need (we have a minimal number of each). This support is available to community card holders, students with valid ID, and anyone experiencing financial hardship. We are here to help ease the burden and ensure that no one has to face endometriosis pain alone.

The resources section of Endo Warriors Aotearoa provides a wide range of educational materials to support individuals with endometriosis. It includes fact sheets, tips on managing chronic pain, stress responses, pacing, and alternative treatments. You’ll also find information on treatment options like laparoscopic surgery and hormonal treatments, as well as resources on mental health, self-care, and fertility. Additional guides cover period products and holistic management techniques. Explore these resources for valuable insights on managing endometriosis effectively.

Endo Warriors Aotearoa offers a comprehensive "Endometriosis Workplace Support" workshop designed to educate managers and staff on how to better support colleagues with endometriosis. This workshop provides crucial insights into the challenges faced by individuals with endometriosis and offers practical strategies to create a more inclusive and accommodating work environment. Participants will learn about endometriosis symptoms, its impact on employees, and ways to foster a supportive workplace. This Koha-based workshop can be held online or in-person, empowering workplaces to thrive through inclusivity and compassion.

The EWA Library offers a collection of books related to endometriosis, pain management, and women's health, available for loan to our community. You can borrow a book for up to six weeks, and we kindly ask that if you're able to cover postage costs, please do so. A full list of available books is provided below, and you can request one directly from the page. If you’d like to donate a book to help grow our library, please get in touch!
