We are honoured to be supported by Ainsley DS Creative, the photographer behind the Endo Empowerment Shoot. Ainsley’s mahi is a gift to our hapori / community, capturing strength, vulnerability, and the reality of living with mate kirikōpū / endometriosis in a way that words alone cannot.
An Endo Empowerment Shoot is a unique portrait experience designed specifically for people living with endometriosis. Whether you’re navigating chronic pain, scars, bloating, a stoma bag, or post-surgical healing, this session is a space to be seen, celebrated, and reconnected with your body, exactly as you are.
This body-positive photoshoot is about more than just taking beautiful images. It’s about reclaiming space in your own tinana / body. For many with endo, the journey through diagnosis, treatment, and daily discomfort can lead to disconnection from ourselves. These shoots are a gentle, empowering way to honour your experience, spotlight your resilience, and restore a sense of ownership over your physical self.
Each session is trauma-aware, supportive, and paced to meet your needs. Whether you’re in a flare or in remission, you are welcome. Together, we’ll create a calm, creative environment where you feel safe and strong and where you decide how you want to be seen. In order to continue empowering people with endo, $50 from every shoot goes directly us, Endo Warriors Aotearoa.
