Endometriosis
Awareness Month -March Aotearoa New Zealand

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to raise visibility, challenge stigma, and centre the voices of those living with endometriosis. Throughout March 2026, Endo Warriors Aotearoa will be hosting and participating in a series of community events across Wellington, creating space for education, creativity, connection, and advocacy. Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women, girls, and those assigned female at birth, yet diagnosis can take 7–10 years, and many people continue to face dismissal, misinformation, and barriers to care. Our Endometriosis Awareness Month programme is about changing that narrative.

From exhibitions and community events to creative workshops and awareness days, each event has been designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and grounded in lived experience.

The project centres diversity and inclusion, intentionally representing a wide range of bodies, identities, and experiences.
A collaboration between Endo Warriors Aotearoa and Ainsley Duyvestyn-Smith (Ainsley DS Creative).
