Juju She/Her
Youth Advisory Board
As a member of the Youth Advisory Board at Endo Warriors Aotearoa, Jomana is passionate about tackling endometriosis issues and period poverty at a local and systematic level. With a background in law and politics, she believes that it is imperative to provide for communities that have gone underserved through powerful kaupapa like EWA. Through this role, she is motivated to get resources out in a culturally sensitive way while campaigning for better research and development to tackle issues of misdiagnosis and under diagnosing at the root. A keen people person and community advocate, Jomana’s motivation stems from the belief that the systems in place should be adequately serving us and if they are not then they need urgent reform. Committed to delivering better outcomes, she is also an avid debater and the founder of Amnesty Youth Otago at Otago University.
