Charlotte
Charlotte is a dedicated advocate for menstrual health and endometriosis, having personally experienced the challenges of endometriosis from a young age. Diagnosed at 16, she has been passionate about breaking the stigma and increasing awareness of menstrual health. Following Endo Warriors Aotearoa’s work since 2020, Charlotte is committed to improving resource access, education, and equity for rangatahi. With previous volunteer and advocacy experience, Charlotte brings valuable insights and a collaborative spirit to the team, working to empower young people and shape impactful initiatives in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Angela
Angela is a passionate and dedicated member of the Endo Warriors Aotearoa Youth Advisory Board. With a keen interest in youth advocacy, community engagement, and women’s health, she brings valuable insights from a young person’s perspective. She is keen to raise awareness for causes close to her heart, especially endometriosis, which affects 1 in 10 women.
Beyond her role on the advisory board, Angela is the founder of Te Puawaitanga Women's Organisation and the organiser of TEDxEpsom Women. She’s also part of the YMCA Youth Advisory Panel, which focuses on uplifting her community. In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading, travelling, and planning events like surprise parties or fundraisers.

River - He/they
River - He/they - bisexual, non-binary, panromantic, trans-masc/androgynous is a passionate and dedicated Endo Warriors Aotearoa Youth Advisory Board member. With a keen interest in activism - queer rights, period rights, etc., freedom for everyone, educating on critical topics, period poverty and more! River brings valuable insights from a young person’s perspective. They actively contribute[s] to discussions and initiatives to improve endometriosis awareness, environmental sustainability and menstrual health. In addition to his work with the advisory board, River is also involved in Queer Endurance in Defiance (QED), Rainbow Youth Executive Board as secretary, InsideOUT volunteer, BA double primary degree in cultural anthropology and development studies with a minor in gender and sexuality studies. River is also diagnosed with anxiety, depression, autism, and endometriosis. River advocates for their own and other communities in their free time, participates in taekwondo and rock climbing, and spends time with friends and family. River is driven by a commitment to make a positive impact; River is excited to help shape future programs that empower young people in Aotearoa.

Jayathi
Youth Advisory Member, Endo warriors Aotearoa
Jayathi is a passionate, and willing member to advocate and educate for menstrual health and support those who are struggling. She is compassionate, and always makes sure everyone feels valued. Through her role she provides valuable insights and works together with others to shape the youth voice and ensure it’s heard. Jayathi’s engagement comes from a dedication to make sure everyone, regardless of their background has access to products, and support when needed. By making everyone feel heard, Jayathi fosters a warm environment for everyone to be empowered, seek help, and to advocate for better menstrual and endometriosis care.

Juju
As a member of the Youth Advisory Board at Endo Warriors Aotearoa, Jomana is passionate about tackling endometriosis issues and period poverty at a local and systematic level. With a background in law and politics, she believes that it is imperative to provide for communities that have gone underserved through powerful kaupapa like EWA. Through this role, she is motivated to get resources out in a culturally sensitive way while campaigning for better research and development to tackle issues of misdiagnosis and under diagnosing at the root. A keen people person and community advocate, Jomana’s motivation stems from the belief that the systems in place should be adequately serving us and if they are not then they need urgent reform. Committed to delivering better outcomes, she is also an avid debater and the founder of Amnesty Youth Otago at Otago University.

​Hi Guys! I’m Cam and I’m very passionate about period poverty and more education around Endometriosis. I’m going to nursing school next year which I’m hoping to use to get more awareness for medical knowledge on endometriosis and different uterus conditions. I enjoy netball and travelling.
