About the event

Join us for an inclusive and welcoming bi-monthly free/koha bi-monthly event organized by Endo Warriors Aotearoa, where individuals dealing with endometriosis and chronic pain and those without come together to create art and connect. No booking is needed—drop in and join us for a communal gathering. The event, open to all, starts on March 16th with a special Pride Month celebration.

"Artistic Warriors Beyond Pain: Drop-in Art Fusion Soiree" provides a supportive space in Wellington for recreational and established artists to unite and express themselves.

All art supplies, including pens, paints, paper, air-drying clay, and more, will be provided. Let's use the transformative power of art to shed light on the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of endo warriors, promoting empowerment and understanding.

This initiative isn't just about art and advocacy; it's about building a community where individuals can connect, support each other, and step outside their comfort zones. By joining us, participants can forge meaningful connections, find strength in shared experiences, and embark on a collective journey of resilience and personal growth. "Artistic Warriors" is more than just an event—it's an opportunity to unite and thrive.

Our hosts, Hev (They/Them) and Cleaver/Sakura/Charlie/Mimic (DID system) with pronouns Voi/Void, Fae/Faer, and Mer/Mers, are thrilled to welcome you and keep the good vibes flowing. So mark your calendar and drop by – let's create some art, make some friends, and celebrate Wellington Pride Festival/Endometriosis Awareness Month in style! No bookings are needed; just come on in and join the party!

While mask-wearing is optional at this event, let's remember that some attendees may be immune-compromised and rely on the collective effort to create a safe environment. Wearing a mask demonstrates empathy and consideration for those who may be more vulnerable, fostering inclusivity and respect within our community. Let's keep the spirit of care alive and make everyone feel welcome by being mindful of our choices.
