About the event
Periods can feel awkward to talk about, especially if you did not grow up learning about them. But for young people and others who menstruate, having informed, calm and supportive people around them can make a huge difference.
Periods 101: For Dads, Partners & Whānau is a beginner-friendly online session for people who do not menstruate but want to better support someone who does.
This session is for dads, partners, grandparents, whānau, carers, support people, youth workers, teachers, coaches, and anyone who wants to understand periods, period products, and when period symptoms may need medical support.
This is a shame-free space. You do not need to know the right words, and there are no silly questions.
