Dr Sam is a fellowship-trained gynaecologist with more than a decade of medical experience. He works as a consultant gynaecologist at Auckland City and Middlemore hospitals and consults privately through Auckland Gynaecology Specialists.
His areas of expertise include endometriosis ultrasound, persistent pelvic pain and advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynaecological surgery.
Dr Sam offers personalised, evidence-based care and believes patients are experts in their own bodies. He focuses on listening carefully, explaining diagnoses and treatment choices in plain language, and helping patients make informed decisions about their care.
The conversation will combine practical education with questions submitted by the EWA community.

Dr Sam is an Auckland-based gynaecologist and advanced minimally invasive surgeon with a particular focus on endometriosis, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders and evidence-based, patient-centred care.
He has extensive experience in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

You can submit a general question for Dr Sam through the registration form. Questions must be submitted by 5:00pm Monday 10 August.
Questions may be submitted anonymously. Please don’t include names, medical records or other information that could identify you or another person.
Registration is free but required. The private Google Meet link will be emailed to registered attendees and will not be posted publicly.
