Founder/CEO/ Advocacy Director
Yessenia (Jess) She/Her
Jess is the force behind Endo Warriors Aotearoa, everything EWA stands for is very close to her heart. You can read HERE all about how EWA started.
When Jess has spare time, she can be found doing stuff for EWA, working hard to help manage her pain & illness. Jess loves spending time with her son Jorge & is a big spiderman fan.
Jorge has been volunteering for EWA for over a year, he has helped pack many period packs & surgery packs, carried many boxes & helped sort items and over lockdown packed hundreds of period packs. Jorge is not worried about the stigma around periods, because to him there is not one, he is happy to help anyone that needs period items,
When Jorge is not helping with EWA you can find him playing PS4 with his friends and listing to music
Executive Director & Co Founder
Hi I’m Mara!
I am super excited to be on board helping at EWA! Having Endo myself I understand how hard it can be, and believe it is important to help people understand and educate them on everything period related!
I currently work in HR and in my spare time I love to garden and go to the gym!
Kia Ora everyone! Hope you're all well. My name is Ash (they/them) and I'm a year 12 at living in Wellington NZ. I am one of the youngest members of Endo Warriors Aoteoroa. After finding out I had endo in late 2022 I've found a passion for advocacy - both for myself and other gender-non-conforming endo warriors.
Amongst the chaos of NCEA level two, I'm a co-leader of my school's pride group, a member of our student council and a poet. More often than not I can be found with my nose in a book, drawing, making memes, sewing, baking, writing or drawing, and most recently working on YAG things! I'm so excited to be here and can't wait to make a difference in this space.

Hi, I'm Kate. I am so excited to be involved with EWA!
I have a background in film and animation, and I am currently a marketing student at Massey University.
In my spare time I like to work on design projects, or crochet projects for some time away from the screen.
Hi! I’m Lisa, a lover of writing and fellow Endo sufferer. I am passionate about making awareness of endometriosis and hopefully helping other sufferers feel less alone. I hope to be the person in other sufferers lives that I didn’t have, some support and love. I work with kids and am passionate about hopefully making the world a better place for them!
