This is a two-part workshop. 

Body and Mind Responses to Pain 

Learning objectives:

· Threat response to pain - flight/fright/freeze - understanding how our bodies react (He tauhohe ahoeta - te whakautu ki te mamae - te whakapau kaha/te whakamā/te whakakētanga - te māramatanga i ngā whakautu o tō tātou tinana)

· How to respond to stress - recognising different types of stress and their effects (Me pēhea te whakautu ki te whakararuraru - ngā momo whakararuraru pai me ngā whakararuraru kino me ō rātou āhua)

· Think, feel, do - exploring the interaction between mood and pain (Whakaaroa, rongo, mahi - te whakarapopototanga i te whakawhitiwhiti ake o te hinengaro me te mamae)
